Our family has been living in Florida since 2010. We feel very lucky to live in such a nice place with many opportunities. We want to share these great opportunities with families who cannot afford them so that we can build a better world for younger generations.

For our family, philanthropy is a huge value. We are contributing to various scholarships in Turkey and helping the Innovative Workshop Center for The Visually Impaired in Turkey.

In 2024, with your and other clients’ help, we came to meet George Snow Scholarship Fund in Florida. We were deeply impressed with their mission and their proven achievements. We felt the need to contribute as much as we can within our power. At the end of the day community building is a collaborative effort of all members of the society.

Herewith with extreme gratitude I am humbled to announce the establishment of Equinoks-Roksan & Alper Behar Scholarship Fund.

Through this fund, we hope supporting George Snow Foundation in their mission. The George Snow Scholarship Fund’s mission is to help hard working students in South Florida to graduate from college by providing financial aid and wrap-around support services. Our goal is to ensure that no student is deprived of an education because of a shortage of funds or a lack of support.

Our primary funding is coming from Behar Insurance. Every insurance policy purchased from Behar Insurance automatically is helping a student in need.

Our hope is, to leave a better world to the next generation by using these funds to help high school and university students.
